Q. How do I make an appointment?

You can call, email, or book your appointments online. Please book your appointment ahead of time, but we will try to accommodate last-minute appointments if possible.


Q. Do you have a waiting area?

It depends on what stage of the Ontario reopening plan we are in but most of the time we do. Our waiting areas are well-spaced out for your safety. Q. Do I have to come inside the store?

No. Just call us when you arrive and we will come out to you.


Q. Is my vehicle sanitized before/after service?

Yes, it is to protect everyone. We even sanitize your key.


Q. Can I use a drop box for my key?

Yes, this is the best option. We even have a pick up box for your convenience.


Q. Do you have transportation options available?

Yes, we have a shuttle service which runs each hour with a limited capacity. We use a fogger to sanitize the shuttle after each run to keep us all safe. Please call us to book your pickup and ride home.


Q. What is our drop off procedure for service appointments?

It’s an easy process, we have a video on our website for you to watch to take you step by step.


Q. Will I be able to go over the final repairs with someone?

Yes, our Service Advisors will speak with you by phone or video call. This is most important so you understand the repairs.



Q. Where is the Whitby Collision & Glass Centre located at Owasco?

We are located at 2060 Champlain Avenue in Whitby behind the Volkswagen dealership.


Q. Do I need to book an appointment for an estimate?

Q. Do I have the right to select the shop that will repair my car or must I use the one referred by my insurance?

YES – you have the right to go to the repair facility of your choice. Your insurance company can suggest preferred repair facilities but they cannot require that you go to a particular shop.

Q. Will the parts be ordered before I drop off my vehicle for repair?

We can order most of your vehicle’s parts at the time the insurance company authorizes the repairs and then schedule your vehicle to be dropped off. Although, we will not know all of the parts that are required until we are able to complete the disassembly process and carefully inspect your vehicle for any hidden damages.

Q. How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?

The team member who is facilitating the repair process will give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repairs to your vehicle – we will stay in touch with you throughout the course of the repairs so you will never be left wondering about the progress made to repairs on your vehicle.

Q. Can I get a ride home when I drop off my car?

Yes, we provide a FREE shuttle service with all major repairs.

Q. How can I get a rental car?

At Whitby Collision and Glass we offer in-house special replacement car rental rates with direct billing through Owasco so if you need a rental car, we can make the necessary arrangements for you to pick one up when you drop your car off. We are also partnered with Discount and Enterprise rental car companies.

Q. How will I know when my car is done?

You will be notified when your vehicle is ready to be picked up. Feel free to call or e-mail at any point during the repair process if you have questions or concerns.

Q. Is there a warranty policy on the paint job to my vehicle?

Q. What technology do you utilize for frame alignments?

Q. Do you provide service for only major damage on vehicles?

No, we provide service for any type of minor or major damage on any vehicle.

Q. Do you service RVs and Trailers?

Yes, we accept any brand of RVs and Trailers.
